bibliocommons
I enjoyed trying out the new online catalog. My favorite new feature was the way holds are listed. I think patrons will find the newer version easier to understand. If I had realized that "my collection" was open to the public when I wrote my comment, I would have been more erudite. I'll have to work with the system much more before I'd feel right making any suggestions for improvements.

For my test site, I chose Cocktailbuilder.com from the Fun section for no other reason than it looked kind of fun. It was very easy to use. I listed a few of the items in my liquor cabinet and it gave me different possible mixed drinks. Of course, some entries were just plain stupid like a shot of tequila followed by a 12oz. glass of cold water thrown in the face. It also had bar accessories for sale. I doubt that I would ever use this site in a library setting, but if Greg says it's okay, I'd be willing to test out the recipes here.

71/2 habits
I suppose for me the hardest of the habits of lifelong learning is creating a learning toolbox. The easiest is having confidence that I can learn.
